When dissolved substances in cement products rise to the surface, a white, powdery deposit will form as the cement surface is exposed to the atmosphere. This phenomenon is known as efflorescence. Instead of inhibiting this process, SOLIDO embraces efflorescence on cement by harnessing different production techniques to create unique natural patterns on these “live materials.” typeF coffee also makes use of recycled materials such as used paper cups and coffee grounds from coffee shops. Its surface is finished with an external layer where coffee grounds are visible, which confers a special warmth to any indoor environment.
