It is available in a wide variety of options from coarse to finishing quality to suit its intended use and work environment. The mechanical pencil type ceramic stone is capable of polishing fine detailed spots that cannot be worked with normal files or rotary tool. Another grinding stone is soft like an eraser and adapts to the shape of objects, suitable for scratching the surface of work pieces.
