Kyo Kumihimo braid made in a workshop in Kyoto Uji, is a traditional material born from the technique of braiding together more than three threads of yarn. It is ideal for applications such as tying things and has been used in people's daily lives while, over the years, changing with the times the way it is used. There are various ways of braiding Kumihimo, each one suiting a different purpose or use. They can have a completely different look depending on the combination of color and material.
